Maureen Bayliss

Maureen Bayliss – Artisan, Tottenham, Ontario

Mo (Maureen ) Bayliss is well known within her community for her contributions to
the arts, culture and heritage of New Tecumseth and at times the surrounding areas.

Mo's specialty is prehistoric arts and archaeology. Her self taught archaic method
of making paint hand ground from stones is used in watercolour form, for her illustrations of North American Aboriginal antiquities.

Currently Mo, as Curator, is enjoying participating in a community project with Century 21 Heritage Group Ltd, developing a hanging gallery in their Tottenham location. Dubbed Gallery 21, the space provided is a modern, well organized area which supports local artists, herself included.
